In earlier books Ged Fagan has concentrated on city center developments, in this book he has ventured from the area that surrounded the inner city and out to Edge Hill, Wavertree, Tuebrook, Old Swan, the Dingle, Toxteth, Speke and Garston. His personal experience of spending his early years living in tenements will be one to which many will relate and the many black and white photographs will bring back many memories.
