Ok but not the best guide
For me, the best tourist guide books take you on a guided tour around a city or its local area, with helpful directions. Although this book contains several suggested itineries which are shown on the useful map, the commentary is not the best when it comes to following the suggested itinerary. For example, the comparatively simple tour focusing on the main market square (which is beautiful) started on the map in one corner, yet the commentary begins with numbered buildings far away from you, and the content is more historical than practical. The AA "Essential...." series of guides have served me well in the past and I will look out for one of those before returning to Krakow.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
