Doctor Who and the Pescatons is a unique, original 45 minute audio drama, first published on LP and cassette by Argo Records in 1976. Atmospheric and thrilling, the adventure stars Tom Baker as the Doctor, Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith, and Bill Mitchell as Zor. Materialising on a lonely stretch of beach one night, the Doctor and Sarah soon discover that Earth is menaced by a refugee race of amphibious fish-like aliens - and the Doctor holds the key to their defeat! Never broadcast on radio, the story has been unavailable for a number of years, and this is the first time it has been published by BBC Audio. A special bonus disc features an exclusive 40 minute interview with Elisabeth Sladen, who as Sarah Jane Smith was one of the Doctor's most popular assistants. She talks about her memories of recording The Pescatons, her time on Doctor Who generally, and her reflections on the character of Sarah.
