Very comorehensive as are most of the outward bound books. As an older hiker, its nice to have terms I was brought up with like variation instead of declination, and bearing instead of azimuth, which I assume have come in from America Though why modern generations insist of replacing easily understood words with meaningless gobbledygook is something I find hard to understand.A good book with easy to understand explanatiions and diagrams, and a very worthwhile buy.
