An interesting story of a short trip on RMS Titanic
Visited the Titanic Exhibition at its last port of call in Cobh (formally Queenstown) very interesting.
Part of the story was about Father Browne and the amazing photographs he took when his Uncle gave him a ticket on the maiden voyage of RMS Titanic from Southampton, England, to Queenstown, Ireland, via Cherbourg, France. During the trip a wealthy couple offered to buy him a ticket from Ireland to NY but his superior demanded he disembarked the ship at Queenstown.
Disappointing for Father Browne but it meant there was some fantastic photographs of the Titanic and the people who sailed on her, the book covers his story and shows the photographs taken...
It is the book I have been looking for, fascinating photos of the Titanic, helping to build a sense of the period and the passengers and the enormity of the vessel. Glad I bought it.
