  • Tiny print, terrible format, nearly impossible to read!

The print and format is nearly impossible to read. Awful experience for a Dyslexic. Gave up, page 3, with a stress and eye-strain headache. I believe the story is good. This particular print run is not recommended.

  • Essential reading for anyone interested in Arthurian legends.

This is my second time reading this. It is even better than I remember. It helps that I have moved to Wales though. Not only is it about King Arthur and his companions, it also addresses the transition of Britain to a Christian government. Told through Morgaine's eyes, it is a long book but manages to keep a good pace for most of the time. The beginning and the end were favourites. Fantastic for a look at a female,' goddess' society and comparing it to the male, exclusionary, christianity. Very hard on early priests.

This is a good book for people interested in mythology and history. The geographical and historical references helped me to learn more .
