Good for hypersensitive skin but not as good for oily acne prone skin that sweats easily. Too gentle.
I have an acne prone face that gets sweaty and greasy very easily. I also have sensitive skin. My face literally starts getting gross out of no where even if I’m not exercising plus my skin gets irritated very easily. It’s really annoying. I use a Retinoid at night and a acne topical in the morning that I got from my skin doctor. I’ve been trying to find a face cleanser that will work with my topicals without irritating or drying out my skin too much. I also wanted something that will resurface my face and keep it smooth. I know that using acids like glycolic acid can be a bit irritating with my topical Retinoid so I bought this thinking it would work perfectly. I didn’t like this face wash. It has a liquid plastic like consistency and it doesn’t foam very much plus it doesn’t clean my face as thoroughly as I’d like. It doesn’t feel like it’s cleaning deep enough into my pores. If you’re someone with extremely sensitive skin and don’t deal with acne, sweat, or oily skin then this is the face wash for you. If you need a deeper cleanse then I wouldn’t buy it. I switched back to my old cleanser (it has LHA acids in it). It was irritating my skin and that’s why I tried this cleanser but I think my old cleanser was working better all in all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Super cleansing
I like this cleanser but I don’t use it daily because it will totally dry you out and strip your skin if you’re using it twice a day. It smells great, is lightweight and deep cleans without exfoliation that you can feel. (Think of the cleansers with sand like crystals, this is not like that at all) I like to use this after a facial, chemical peel or microdermabrasion to really deep clean and prep the skin for moisturizer. Nice cleanser that's not drying.
This is the first 'gel' cleanser I've tried, and I was pleasantly surprised. You use less product than expected, which means 6oz will last a longer time than other cleansers. Using it once a day, it did not dry my skin out, which I was concerned it might as I have very dry skin. Skin feels clean without being stripped.
