the aquabot is good for the money but it could go both ways . Initially my first aquabot lasted 8 years , the second one lasted 2 years and you cannot get parts to repair these things especially the motors. overall they are worth the money as long as you can get them for under $350. i’m on my 3rd one in 12 years so far so good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Aquabot Pool Rover Jr is not suitable for a 24' round pool. The settings on the power box are for large or small pools. When set on the large setting it doesn't make it across the 24' pool before it reverses and heads back. The power box should have a dial like the older style boxes had so one can adjust the timing manually! If I could I would upgrade from the Aquabot JR!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Aquabot Jr. Is A Problem Solver!
Bought this unit because my above ground pool is just to the west of my neighbors hundred year old oak trees. The tallest was hit by lightning and the dead leaves were FILLING my pool. Small vacuum didn't cut it. Enter the Aquabot Jr, and problem is solved. One cleaning! I now use it every couple of days ad have a sparkling water pool. Has Flaws
I have owned an Aquabot Pool Rover Jr for about 7-8 years and it worked great in our 27'-0 round above ground pool (motor finally gave out), we used it 3 times a week and never had a problem except the chord would tangle. We decided to stay with the same unit since we had such good luck with it. Pros: The new one was delivered in 3 days as promised at a great price we unpacked it and put it to work that day it has great suction and picked up everything in the pool (that it would drive over) Cons: Chord is way to stiff and stops the machine from traveling all over the pool, .It only has two settings small and large pool, we have it set for a large pool and the unit will not go across the entire pool we have changed the steering pin several times it seems the timing on the control box off. New design is terrible.
The new design features a very stiff floating cable that does not flex with the movement of the cleaner. It quickly knots up and will not come close to completing the cycle across the pool as it is designed to do. I bought this new unit to replace the old model which worked perfectly. Best pool cleaner on the market
This has been the best purchase that we’ve made for our 24’ above ground steel walled pool. It goes to work immediately and does a fantastic job keeping our pool clean! We had one of the older versions that we inherited when we bought our home with the above ground pool. Our first one was over ten years old, missing key parts, and still continued to work! It was time for a new pool cleaner and we didn’t even look into others because we knew the Rover’s reputation. This robotic cleaner is hand down the best on the market! You just can’t beat it!
