230 patchwork edition
This is an excellent machine, exterior is plastic but all the interior parts are metal, including the bobbins. It is a smaller machine than the standard so it's more suited towards sewing garments or smaller projects. It has gone through any amount of layers I've tested it on as long as it fits under the pressure foot. The only differences I could find between the 230 and 240 are the additional LED light (which I just installed my own extra light) and the ability to mirror the stitch designs. Which I don't really need since I mostly use basic stitches or I can just flip the project around. Great Recommendation
A friend suggested that I look for this machine for quilt retreats as it would provide accurate seams, let me also use the zig-zag stitch for other projects and be lighter to carry.
