Head Phones.
Had other wireless headphones by Sennheiser before, similar form factor but so far these leave them way behind. A model above in terms of quality and ease of use. Havent had the chance to put the surround sound feature fully to the test yet but sounds impressive so far. Most impressive for me is the auto tune feature; it finds the output from its own base station and others with relative ease. This model was discontinued by Sennheiser! Why? It was a superb member of their range a few years ago
HDR130 and TR130 transmitter - Sennheiser had no spares available to replace my defunct TR130 transmitter nor were they able to offer a workshop repair. How remarkable! This HDR130 which I bought from a very nice Ebay seller is working delightfully on its own TR130 but will not accept sound into my original headset although they purport to interface on the same frequency. In short, far far better than the current RS120 which I recently had to buy from Amazon and have already consigned to a cupboard despite being brand new. The surround sound option is a bit gizmoish - I have it set to off to avoid picking up extraneous sounds. Sennheiser HDR 130 radio headset-One Of The Best!
Easily one of the best on the market at the time. Very clear precise sound with the ability for surround added! This is the second unit I have had. The first lasted 12 years and never let me down. For the money involved the 130 series is pretty unbeatable. Very comfortable and easy adjustment of on/off and volume controls, unlike the later Sennheiser HDR 170 which had very difficult buttons to manipulate! Don't know why the 130 series was discontinued. Bring them back Sennheiser!
I bought my first pair new over a decade ago and they are still going strong, original batteries and all. As I use them in the studio for recording our band I have purchased 4 more, both new and used, all are still functioning well. As other reviewers have commented "why have sennheiser stopped making them?" Bluetooth just doesn't hack it for sound quality and issues with time lag make them useless for studio and television watching. Comfort is good and all are wearing well. great headphones
although they are not the latest model they are ideal for my vintage set up which cost an arm and a leg when new I am now getting on in years but still listen fervently to my music library these headphones are ideal when relaxing in my garden or just pottering about outside I have tried various types and makes of wireless headphones but these are by far the best I have used the quality of sound is fantastic the tone is exceptional and volume control on them is really good reception and clarity over distance very good the furthest I went was approx. 75 ft and reception was exceptional no problems encountered the ability to charge them on the cradle is another plus, really pleased with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
