I was a little hesistant at first as i am not a complete novice gardener and did think that this might be a little too basic for me. I also worried that it may be too pretty without the information to back it up. How wrong was I. Ok, so if your an expert then you might not need this book and the book is very attractive to browse too but i am glad i bought it. I love the way its set out, like a cookbook, where you have projects set out like recipes which makes it sooo clear that I doubt anyone could make a mistake. The projects are great too, sometimes simple but ultimatly satisfying when you see the results, a must have for encouraging the less than green fingered ladies to garden. I like the pictures too as they really help spark the enthusiam to get gardening! This won't give you masses of information on plants and gardening but I definitly have picked up many tips whilst browsing. The book is aimed at women but that doesn't mean a novice male gardener wouldn't get someting from it too. So this is a simple gardening book with projects for the novice gardener but is also great for those with perhaps a bit more experience because its great to browse and regain enthusiam and joy in gardening on those days where you might not feel like you want to get digging in!Read full review
