No easy pushover
The CMX Tack Cleaner car is very well machined. Assembly appears to be of the highest quality. This unit is heavy and for good reason. To clean the track with a cloth pad, it has to be heavy to stay in contact with the rails. On just one lap around a very small Kato Unitrack oval, the pad was incredibly loaded with black residue from the rails. I had initially cleaned the tank with Mineral Spirits and let it air dry over night before filling with 91% Isopropyl alcohol for the cleaning solution. I used one Fox Valley Models ES4400Ac to push the car around my oval. One engine was not enough to push this car without my gentle intervention. I only have one of these engines converted to DCC but when I get another converted, I will run this car again with two engines pushing. I'm sure that will get this heavy weight moving. All in all, I'm very impressed with the way this car performed. I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a very clean layout.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
