  • Deeply captivating epic

I have never read a novel based on a video game, so it was interesting to see how an author would treat the content matter. As it turns out the novel is compelling and faithful to its source material. One could be forgiven for forgetting that this book is based on a game at all. The novel is well paced and actually captures the spirit of God of War. The author even throws in major references to wider Greek Mythology as a whole. All in all this is a well written book for anyone who likes the Greek myths or the God of War series.
