  • Nostalgia - The Family from One End Street

This book was read to me as a child. The person who read this book to me was my junior school teacher. She read us books the such enthusiasm and character to the point of taking you back in that specific time. Brilliant book, one I have never forgotten. I am reading this to my 8 year old grandson and he loves it. Glad I bought it. Wasn’t sure my grandson would like the book but I was wrong. I shall buy more if I can get hold of them

Bought for my grandchildren. I read it as a girl. Shows life in the 50's. Good bit of history. Great.

  • So Good

I read this book as a child, probably the first book I read and enjoyed every page even though i didn't understand it all at the time! Now i have read it as an adult and enjoyed it even more.

  • Bring Back the Fifties

A brilliantly humorous account of a much missed, much maligned by-gone age. An absolute delight both to those of us of a certain age and even our grandchildren...............
