Although the symptoms of personality disorders may differ widely in shape and scope, they are almost always treated with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). This is because all ten personality disorders are characterized by rigid thought and behavior patterns, and most people with these disorders suffer from similar types of ongoing conflict and instability in many aspects of their lives.

This is the first book I have read that Helped me to manage my personality disorder. It's very informative and gives you constructive exercises to do . I would say though however if you wanted to just focus on one personality disorder in depth this may not be the book for you . It gives a brief overview of all of them. Which for me personally I found helpful as I found I matched the criteria for two disorders which I Discussed with my psychiatrist . Normally I buy books and then they sit on the shelf this one is a regular read . :)
