I bought this television for use in our bedroom in conjunction with the wall mounts. The TV is mounted at almost ceiling level and offers absolute comfort viewing while relaxed in bed. The picture reception is brilliant and was very easily set up complete with all freeview stations. Use of the remote is simple,(even in the dark) no technical knowledge required whatsoever. Now when a programme dispute arises, I retreat to the home comforts of the bedroom and enjoy my choice programme. (or fall asleep). All in all an excellent purchase at a very reasonable price, highly recommended. (Little to pay for a peaceful life in later years!!!)
All things considered this is a really good TV. The picture is clear and sharp. I've seen details and heard sounds that i missed previously on a lesser TV. Cartoon feature films look great and Avatar was out of this world. How the sellers ebuyer managed the price I'll never know. I've not hooked up the HDMI side yet but really looking forward to it. The plug and play system was really easy at the start you just switch on and it programmed itself. The energy saver system is a boon if you forget to switch off at night as well. LG have there own version of Surround Sound built in so the music and background to films is full and rich. 10/10 Highly reccomended
Got it for a very good price. Quick and swift delivery. Very good picture, good speakers, lots of connections (can't figure out how to activate stuff connected to USB port though...) draw backs: - it responds slowly when I change channels or switch it on. But apparently all big LCDs have similar problems. - remote control is not too pretty but does its job. I am genuinely happy with the purchase.
Bought to replace our aging analogue Hitachi, which had developed black lines at the top and bottom of the screen! We're really pleased with the telly - we already have a brilliant direct drive LG washing machine and LG are a good make. For £249, we think it was a steal. The only problem was that the old telly was on a stand, so we needed something to put the LG on. We had it standing on a coffee table for ages, whilst looking for a corner unit to match our teak furniture. After looking at literally hundreds, I eventually bought a very nice teak unit for £11.50 on ebay and bobs your uncle!
I bought two of these televisions - brand new and boxed £200 each - fantastic value . The set up is very easy , the picture and sound are great - highly recommended . Tim
