Works well
I found this easy to use as long as care is taken to wet the paper well and leave for five minutes before fitting the edging. The only downside is that the edging, when removed, leaves a very heavy crease around the edges of the paper which is almost impossible to steam iron flat. Remember this when decidng on your painting size and frame etc. Compared to using gummed paper, this is far better and much less messy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent easy solution to watercolour paper stretching.
Good simple design. An easy, clean and quick way to stretch watercolour paper when needed. Better than using brown tape which I find does not stick or hold the paper well enough. I have also tried stapling paper to a board which also works well but then you have the pain of removing the staples and renewing a the board eventually. Takes the hassle out of stretching paper
The assembly of this item is quite straightforward after a little practice and it holds the watercolour paper securely in use.
