Game worked and was cheap. My last disk was broken and I couldn’t progress on the story and multiplayer modes. Thankfully getting this new copy fixed the issue and now I can play just fine. Came packed well and was in good condition considering it has been about 13 years since this game released and the PS3 has been out of the mainstream since about 2013. Good job.

Ok, I gunned half through a few hours of single player simply for the trophies and then dropped it for a few hours into the MP end of stuff. This is an early rummage of thoughts to give some people on the fence an idea of what they are getting into. Even most of the PC reviews out there have been pretty vague. I haven't cleared this 100% for the Platinum or put in 100 hours of ranking. But I have been playing Battlefield games for awhile so some early thoughts after a few hours. First off -- 200+ meg update before you can play then you're off to the races. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was similar to Crysis, in that you could navigate the landscape the way you wanted, within an admittedly small area. Wooden huts and hideouts were for the destroying if you were so inclined. In Battlefield 3, you are literally led by the nose with little blue and red boxes on EXACTLY what to do. It's pretty insulting. Walk one foot too far this way or that way, and you are immediately told to "RETURN TO THE BATTLEFIELD." The levels are much more confined than the last game, but I think they went way too far on the scripted confrontations. On the realism end, there is a a few instances where a Marine will drop dead right in front of you and the other soldiers will just walk right by. Pretty lame, Marines don't tend to do that sort of thing. So the story sucks, but nobody reads Playboy for the articles right? Character models are not the strong point here. Where in CoD, everything looks like shiny plaster, here they look like clay . The environment textures look good most of the time, but occasionally do load slowly. Also, first thing I would do, is jack up the controller sensitivity, the default setting is way too slow. So far, I see a real missed opportunity in the single player end. I don't know why they just don't take the large maps from multiplayer and come up with a story based task for the single player. Corridor shooting needs to finally die. Anyway, the campaign doesn't do much new thus far, but there are good points. The audio is absolutely stunning. On my surround sound, the bullet hits and muzzle sounds are really awesome. But playing Battlefield by yourself is like buying a banana just to eat the peels.Read full review
Good game 4 multiplayer. The only thing I didn't like about the game is that it uses alot of vulgar language. Even in multiplayer. But I switched the speech 2 FRENCH and then I couldn't understand when they were using cus words. Great , great soundeffects though, better than COD MW3. But if you want very fast pace hand 2 hand combat COD MW3 is better. BF3 is more like a real life battle though. I like both games and play both, it just depends on what kind of mood I'm in.
I really enjoyed playing this game by Dice and EA. I did have a few problems though. The multiplayer was absolutely spectacular, and thoroughly addictive! If you plan on only buying this game for the single player, don't do it. Truthfully, the single player had so much potential and while it isn't terrible, it wasn't very good either. I would only buy this game if you have an internet connection because if not, its a bit like eating a banana peel, and not the banana!
This game has very nice features such as its graphics, playability. I was somewhat surprised by the fact that its campaign game in which you complete episodes is very short. I finished the game in 3 days. But I guess people buy this game to play online in multiplayer mode.
BF3 is definitely a must have. Graphics, action, multiplayer, all these are great. I don't know if you care much about campaign mode, which is also good but not as good as an online death match. My only warning is about playability. If you're not used to playing FPS with the PS3 controller, prepare to die a lot - and by "a lot", I mean "kid, you'll do nothing but spawn over and over" - but don't let this intimidate you. After a while you also will be able to bring chaos into your game and cause insane bloodshed in multiplayer/coop mode.
Great game there is different missions with different cars plains helicopters and the main play is shooting . I love all shooting games but i prefer more realistic games when you feel like you in the filed and it is not game for this game all looking great but the only thing is missing is that when you run or look from left to right it is too smooth and you don't relay fell like in the filed (it is my opinion) From 1-10 I am giving 9 . Hope it helped
Great game i enjoy going around exploring the huge maps with friends and people.not as many campers as i thought there would be. this game is more for adults not for 7 year old's who shouldn't have gotten rated m 17 years and over games in the first place -__- team based no going Rambo or you'll get spotted by all the enemies and get shot/bombed/rpg/run over/battlefield also improves each time they make a new game something is always new.you get your moneys worth the story does seem a bit short but since this game is intended for online gameplay it makes sense that they focus more on that also it has won many awards for its innovations

I have all the Battlefield games now for PS3. I think there are about 5 of them for PS3. I think they make one for PS4 so I may have to buy some for the PS4 now.
