  • Testimony of one of the last survivors of Auschwitz

A remarkable and honest account by a Jewish woman who grew up in Czechoslovakia before WW2, fled to Hungary after 1938 and was eventually arrested and sent to Auschwitz. We must do everything we can to make sure no one tries to destroy a people because they are different. In the words of Iby Knill: I am different from you – you are different from me – but that does not make me worth less than you, it just makes me more interesting to you and YOU more interesting to me.

  • A real insight into life in concentration camps

Iby writes with passion about her life during the Second World War and about her life before and after. For me it was a compelling read - couldn’t put the book down!
