This is a lovely book packed full of interesting detail describing, as far as we can tell, what the Anglo-Saxons wore and how we know. There is alot of interesting background information too. There chart to recreate your own version of an Anglo-Saxon woman's robe is clear as are the instructions. I am enjoying reading it and looking forward to having a go at making the robe.
A very informative book, an excellent reference guide for reenacters. Easy to read, Highly recommended.
