  • The 1001 games we must play and a lot we will remember

A nice book that thoroughly tracks the near forty years of development of video games. The authors describe the distinctive features of the titles that contributed the development of the genre. The vivid description and a screenshots of the game-play recreates the unique atmosphere of the gaming experience. A lot of information is included in the title, the emphasis is put on ever popular action games and shooters. Sadly for hardcore fans all kind of simulations, board games and many other slightly forgotten genres are not covered, which creates a feeling of lack of deep and balance. Recommended gift book!
