Too superficial to be of much value
With colour illustrations on nearly every page this book sure looks pretty. The info is so highly condensed, however, that it can be of little practical value to the history buff or modeller/wargamer. Only side views of vehicles are shown, whereas insignia typically appeared on front and rear of a vehicle. I was hoping to see typical insignia for a specific division at any stage in the war, but only a fraction of the possibilities are covered. And many insignia are demonstrably wrong or so poorly drawn to be unrecognizable. Frequent text errors hint at sloppy editing, e.g. Pz II Ausf. b capitalized to Ausf. B - a completely different variant.
