Better than my old Hoover
Just got my new Hoover, much improved from my 20 year old model ( which still worked, gave it to a thrift store). Easier to push and has better tools than the old one along with better air filtration. I will only buy a filtered model, no bagless model for me. Blue wonder
This vacuum works great. I guess the only negative would be that its seems to be a just a bit louder then my last hoover wind tunnel. But over all its awesome. I love the bag. So much better then cleaning out a dirty canister with dirt flying around. I highly recommend the wind tunnel. I went to a Shark for about a year and hated it. yes it never lost suction but it never had a real suction to speak of either. This vacuum has suction to spare. Great vacuum- little price
After researching vacuums, I took Consumer Reports lead editor's recommendation. This is an excellent vacuum and at an awesome price. Granted it's not the same as one of those $600 vacuums, nor should it be at that price point difference. I'm all about value for my $ and if I get 90%-95% of the vacuum for 1/6 the price (including tax) - I'll take that any day & laugh all the way to the bank. Used for 3 weeks now & quite impressed with this vacuum. It is a little noisy, but definitely worth the trade off in suction power. Great cord length and assortment of on board tools too. Bagged Vacuum
Hard to find these anymore. We love it, works well, clean better than my 800 dollar one I cannot mention but comes from overseas with the numerous commercials. I know bags are a pain, but I replace my back twice a week and it's full, the other vacuums I own, they don't catch near as much as these old styles which in my humble opinion makes this vacuum priceless for us. Good price. Has many levels to adjust. Also bag holds lots of fine dirt that is deep cleaned with the excellent suction power. Cord is nice and long. Also comes with a mini-vacuum attachment for couch, chairs and carpeted steps that makes short work of pet hair accumulations. I have owned a few bagless vacuum when they first came into popularity. I never again want to own bagless, they are MESSY! I much prefer a bagged upright. I don't know.
They insist that you write a review about 4-5 days after you receive the product, so here goes. Is it reliable & long lasting? How should I know? I've only used it once & I must say it performed flawlessly. It's light weight & easy to handle & carry from place to place, but it looks to be none too sturdy. These days, IMO, Hoover makes throw away vacuum cleaners. If anything goes wrong that you can't fix yourself you're financially better off buying a new one. I'm single & live in a 1,400' sq ft house so I don't put a lot of "miles" on the vacuum. My last Hoover, which is very similar to this one, lasted 5 years. When it quit I took it to a repair shop who said they'd be delighted to repair it for about $200. Right! Like I said, it's easy to use & did a great job of vacuuming my carpeted floors. It's great when picking up pet hair. Besides the fact that it appears decidedly fragile I did find one other thing I don't like about it. It's loud. Very loud. Am I glad I bought it? I guess so. I indicated that it works, I needed a vac so I got one. Would I recommend that others this make & model? I guess so.
