Was in the market for four new tires for a square body chevy 3/4 ton. Had been considering these tires for some time and finally decided to buy them. Price was right and the tread pattern reminded me of another brands older mud terrains which have since been discontinued. The Nankang rubber compand is outstanding. The height of each rubber lug in the tread far exceeded my expectations. I also apprecaite that Nankang decided to not add the goofy sidewall tread as it is not needed unless used for rock crawling or very deep mud. I purchased 285/75r16 and they look great on my vehicle. At have the price of the big american name brand tire companies, I can afford two sets. Have put around 200 miles on them so far and they are great. To early to tell on how even they will wear but I feel with regular scheduled tire rotations and proper alignment there will not be any issues. Road noise is on par with that of any quality mud terrain tire tread pattern but barely noticable. Another selling factor was that these were an 8 ply tire. I had previously only uesd 10 ply but most tires I had considered for replacement were a 6 ply. 8 ply was a good choice and will meet my needs perfectly. Would 10/10 recommend, so if your on the fence, don't hesitate, its worth snagging a set while they are still a semi-undiscovered mud tire with a better price point. Do your research and learn a little about the company, they have a great history of building service use tires.

  • 400 miles so far and great performance

mounted the tires the day they came in and went to find some mud.. tires dig very well and self clean excellently. i was going through mud holes in 2wd while jeeps were getting stuck. there is some growl on the highway but its a mud tire and mud tires do that.. have driven in rain and had no problems with stopping at all. after 400 miles of mud, gravel roads and highway travel there is 0 wear and the tires ride great.. these tires are the same mold as the original maxxis buckshot mudders. a proven offroad tire. these tires should last for 50,000 miles or more and thats very good for a mud tire. these might not be the very top of the line in tires but they are also under half the price and will do just as good in the mud and sand.. i would also say there will be no problem in snow having had many different off road tires in the past.

  • Great Mud / Street Tire

I have bought these about 1.5 years ago for my 2004 Tacoma 4x4. I have a 3" lift and these tires fit great. No rubbing or issues. I have about 27,000 miles on them and they are at half tread so im sure ill get about 40,000 to 50,000 miles out of them. I drive 75 miles a day just for work and that doesn't include my weekend driving which is about another 100 miles or more. The tires do hum some but not enough to be any issue. They do grip very well in the mud and sand as I do go to the beach often. The tire does not do well on wet streets though. You will break traction quickly if you are not paying attention. This is due to the hard rubber compound I believe. I will be buying these again when I wear the first set out. If you by a set you wont be disappointed. Pro: Price, mileage, durability, look Con: Slippery on wet streets

  • 285/75/16 (32.8x11.4)

These tires do really good in clay sand and mud !!!. They clean out really well and have awesome grip. They dig a lil through the soft sand as expected. Ran em through 15 inches of soft sand in 2wd and didn't get stuck. I give them 3 out of 4 on road manners. They stop really well too! Go With the 35s though!

  • Great aggressive tire for the money.

Very impressed. Decided to try these on my 18 Tacoma DCSB in 285/75/16. Surprisingly quiet and great road manners. Haven’t had them off road yet but I’m sure they’ll be great. Super deep lugs with a ton of separation.

  • Great Bang for the Buck

Very happy so far, Run Ride & Drive Great, Stop Real Good in the Wet. Heard somewhere these are a newer version of the Buckshot Mudder, if so I'm sure I'll continue Happy Had some older BMs that wore like iron. These Ballanced-up excellent for Mud-Trac tires, of coarse they howl n growl on the road, what would any expect? Real nice deep lugs though, could not beat'em for the money.............Steve K.

  • Good product for a good price

Bought these tires at a good price. I do a little bit of farming and plow some snow. Needed something with a little bit of traction and at a decent price. So far I'm happy with them and surprisingly they aren't that noisy going down the road. Definitely worth the money!
