No more sore palms!
This is a great edition to my kitchen. My grip isn't as good as it once was and my poor palms were being shredded. Great for use on so many different tops. Wish I'd bought one sooner. Will take it out on day trips and holidays too as I know it could come in handy. Looks pretty too hanging up. Nice design.

Adds grip but not leverage
If you need extra grip on a lid this really helps but if you have weak hands / fingers then this wont work. The grip fits alot of different sized jars and makes the really stuck lids easier to open, i wasn't expecting much from it, but was pleasantly surprised with the simplicity of the design that actually works. This little device only adds grip like I said if you have weak fingers then you will something with more leverage. I actually use this as an arrow puller

Get a grip!
We bought some rubber grips a while ago which were very useful for opening jars, bottles and tubes of paint. When those grips disintegrated, we found these. They are more substantial, so slightly less flexible to hold, but are just as good at the job. They are also useful when trying to open plastic food bags. HELP WITH UP TO ABOUT 82mm JAR LIDS.
It's not expensive, simple and helps with jar lids up to 82mm. Note these mats only help; a really stubborn lid may not undo. Although the mat is 125mm diameter, you need a good overlap to get a grip.
