The Pyramid SP5 horn automotive speaker can be mounted on the outside of a vehicle. It functions as an all-weather unit with a protective coating over the wiring. This Pyramid 5-inch car speaker uses a 5-inch reflex horn as well. In addition, the bottom bracket of this horn automotive speaker features two mounting holes. The intended use for this Pyramid 5-inch car speaker is for a public announcement loudspeaker. I installed this in my 2006 Wrangler TJ. Easy to install, pretty much all plug and play except for the 3 screws I used to mount it securely under the hood, blasts the PA system far enough the neighbors complained.
