Stylish heavy duty all-ceramic Swiss made
This is a very heavy duty men's watch. Not for the timid, being ceramic. You certainly don't want to drop this onto your tile floor! However, the scratch resistance is unmatchable. The entire case, bezel, and band are all made of ceramic. The rose gold highlights really stand out well in contrast to the black background. A screw-down crown helps ensure water resistance. The 120-click unidirectional ceramic bezel is very nice. The chronograph works perfectly, and resets to a perfect zero. This watch is unique in that it has no running second hand. The chronograph has one, which is the thin long one you see pointing at 12 o'clock. But, the watch does not have a second hand itself. Not a big deal, really. After all, if you want to look at seconds, just start the chronograph, right? The other two chrono sub-dials show a 30 minute increment, and a 12-hour increment. Also, I've seen many descriptions of this watch stating that this watch has luminous hands and hour markers. Neither is true. There is nothing luminous on this face at all. Even without a second hand, or luminosity, this watch deserves (and gets) five stars from me. Is it worth the $775 MSRP? Probably not. But, I'd say it's worth $400 or $500.
