Great amp, neutral sounding with very good balanced between bass to mid to high frequency sounds
A big improvement in openness of sound and bass extension in comparison to my Cyrus integrated amp (8vs). My 8vs is now my pre-amp to the Cyrus X Power. Very easy to set up, only two buttons! does exactly what you need from a power amp, music detection works well. Nothing bad about this amplifier.

Pugged this in to my 6 Dac used 6Dac as pre amp and has given the sound an injection of power and clarity higher and wider sound stage with more insight and detail very happy have now ordered a stream xp2 ax as my new pre amp for the x power and will now ad another x power and 2 psxr2 s looking forward to setting it all up .😉👍

If you are looking to upgrade a recent Cyrus integrated or pre amp I would recommend this sweet sounding power amp. Having used my integrated as a preamp and this as a power amp significantly improved the overall sound in so many areas. If you can pick one of these up at around half new cost it's a cost effective upgrade. This kind of equipment suits many speakers and is compact, having a likeable simplistic design.

I've hooked the X Power up to my DAC6 In place of my old Arcam Delta 290. Wow what a difference. Much more detail across the tonal range. Really effective upgrade ( driving Proac Studio 118s on stands).
