Vanilla VF5 still plays well today. Although there have been at least 2 or 3 updates since its release, what you get here is still a masterclass in fighting game design. As a launch title for PS3, it did a fine job of showing that the console could offer an 'arcade perfect' version of a (for the time) cutting edge game. Great game, and more than worth the few quid I paid on eBay to sample its delights 15 or more years on from the last time I played it.

One of the best
Virtua Fighter series has always been good and I've kept up since the first with the exception of the 3rd which was a bit disappointing in my opinion all of them are great games and this one might just be the best.
