I like strategy games so I decided to buy Tropico 3. This game is highly addictive for the first 3 games but then, however, becomes hugely and boringly repetative. I thought the campaign mode would have a bit more of a storyline to it, but it turns out it's just random missions. All these missions are all the same apart from the one objective. Basically, you build your town and sit there until the end of the game. Little bit disapointing.
Excellent Game. If your after the sim city type game for the XBOX, then this is for you. Levels can be tricky but that makes it more thrilling as you try to stay the course of your 20 or so years of rule over a banana republic. Soundtrack is one of the best I've heard for any game and the graphics are pretty good too. My true rating would be 90/100.
Control the building of a small island nation and influence each of its unique inhabitants from the cradle to the grave. Nurture and entertain them with schools and bars and restaurants or work them hard with heavy industry to fill your Swiss bank account. The choice is yours to be a benevolent ruler or corrupt dictator. A unique strategy game unlike any I have played before. The learning curve is steep but stick with the game because it is rewarding.
