Interesting idea and okay for its time
There are few really good trek games - but it's hard to put TV trek into games - action and shooting rule the day normally and this is no different - story elements are carried by voice over segments and the story line is okay. However the fighter action simply doesn't feel very trek and you can't do any trek-tech tricks. It's do the task in the time limit or fail. The various ships on offer have some limited variation in performance but nothing special. At a bargain price it's an okay game to tinker with but doesn't offer a 'must finish' 'must replay' feeling.
