Kane & Lynch: Dead Men for Sony PlayStation 3 is a cooperative third-person shooter featuring cooperative play with squad tactics. Kane & Lynch for PlayStation 3 is rated M for mature due to blood, drug references, intense violence, and strong language. In the plot of Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, two death row inmates, Kane and Lynch, are recruited by the highly organized terrorist group The Seven to accomplish various missions around the world. Though they hate each other, the only way to survive is by working together. In Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, single players play the role of Kane, as Lynch assumes the role of backup. In multi-player mode, both Kane and Lynch are played by users. Up to eight players can participate in Kane & Lynch for PlayStation 3, since Kane and Lynch recruit mercenaries to improve their chances of accomplishing the missions. Crowds near the action in Kane & Lynch: Dead Men react to players' actions, and players can manipulate the crowds to help achieve objectives. Great couch co-op.
For the price... you can’t really grumble at this game a whole lot. Having owned the PS3/360 and Windows live version which played really well even with newer hardware. For a 720p game it plays and looks good at times. Playing this on my PS3 with a 42 inch LG 4K tv the game still looks okay. Now it doesn’t support trophies so no quick platinums with this. But the game does have some good scenes that could have been fleshed out a lot longer like the Tokyo night club and bank job. Guns are limited to a small handful and character connection isn’t really there. Kane is an ex cop turned mercenary and thrown in jail for a botched job that went horribly wrong. Lynch on the other hand is an unstable man with a past that is hidden until you venture further into the game -Or read the in game manual, yes the manual has information about the characters; something most game developers do not add. The game is a simple follow the waypoint, kill whoever is in your way and get to the end of the level. For a fun time in co-op I’d advise playing on codeine or if feel like a challenge play on Morphine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
