Installing and playing Scratches
Windows-7 is supposed to run all XP applications, but this game caused a blue-screen during installation, and I also got a blue screen if I tried to play it from the DVD. This was on a modern laptop with an up-to-date version of Win-7. Eventually, I borrowed an old PC from a neighbour who had not used it for many years, with an outdated OS on it. The game loaded and I played through it. The play is OK (point and click), and the graphics were good, but the game can only be installed on a PC with an unsupported OS, so make sure it can't connect to the Internet, and that there is nothing on it that is worth keeping.
