Game review and Collector's box review.
THE GAME: In my opinion, Bioshock 2 is the best one in the series. Greatly improves and optimizes all the gameplay elements from the first Bioshock. Has the strong emotional and solid writing from Infinite - without getting lost up its own a$$ Shows you a side of rapture which feels fresh enough to distinguish itself from the first one. The only downside to Bioshock 2 is that I cannot recommend it without first playing, or having some good knowledge on Bioshock 1 - the way Bioshock 2 is written feels like it takes for granted that the player has played the first one, unlike Infinite that can be enjoyed as a stand-alone. Personal opinion - that does not count for the review, Bioshock 2 is definitely in my top 10 FPS games list. THIS EDITION: Now, regarding this collector' edition. This is one impressive boxed set. Everything from the box embossed butterfly art, to the packing for the vinyl and CD, and internal box decor - is just flawless. I just wish I got this on release, cause when you're opening up the box, it feels like your journey to rapture already started. The artbook is hardbacked, soli, heavy and flawless quality. By far one of the best collector's editions I've had in a long while. I'm also glad it didn't come with a statue or the usual cheap compromises since luckily NECA released some great bioshock 2 stuff - which I got years ago to compliment this work of art. I cannot comment on the posters, since I have no intention of opening those up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
