Great fun with historical story line. Lots of texture to the game play. Easy to get going and fun two player mode as well as compelling story mode. Makes good use of the limited capabilities of the Wii. try changing the controls to suit you though.

Saw this for £1.99 on Ebay, so couldn't resist. Read reviews prior to buying it. Concur with reviews that it is not a good game, or a bad game but ok given the the lack of combat flying games on Wii. Would give it 3.5 stars if I could. Skycrawlers is a much better for graphics in general, but in my view you can't beat the WW2 feel of this game. Controls work great and aircraft respond well. There are a choice of control configurations. Using weapons is very satisfying and there are plenty of missions. In short, it is a welcome WW2 combat flying blast without having to fire up a pc and worry about graphics settings and complicated key assignments. At £1.99 on an old console, that can't be too bad.

Some of the game is very good but the restrictions are, in my opinion, ridiculous. The campaign gets far to difficult quite quickly and the other options are time restricted (which really spoils it), so unless you are descended from Baron Von Richtoven you have limited choice in what you can do which makes it repetitive. Having said all of the above it amused me for a few hours for only a couple of quid.

Learns you how to fly which in turn helps learn how to control the Wii has the smallest movement can send you crashing to the ground very engaging
