Not as good as the original
Been a bricklayer 16 years and always swore by these bolsters best on the market they used too be these have dramatically changed there’s a chunk of steel cut of the back of the blade tht never too be there and just doesn’t seem as strong as they once were.....will add tho this bolster will still never ever ever mushroom on u and for that reason alone still the best bolster on the market tht will last the longestVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

New design
The Vaughan bolsters used to be brilliant but the new design is useless. It is awkward to use and doesn’t cut very well. I wish I hadn’t bought it. I’ve been bricklaying for 47yrs and it’s the worst bolster I’ve ever had. The blade is far too wide and the single chamfer doesn’t help.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ain't broke don't fix it!
