When the box first arrived, we though it was too light - however, when constructed the chiminea is perfect. Yes it is light, but it is sturdy. It throws out lots of heat - we have sat in the garden during this second lockdown at night and been lovely and cosy. I particualrly like the fact it comes with a fork to move the grates so you dont burn your hand

The pro: It looks good, solid & was a bit challenging to assemble (Which i don't mind at all). The con: It said on the advert that it was cast iron material, as soon as I took the box indoors i knew by the feel of the weight that it definitely wasn't cast iron (I have worked with it in the past, it's heavy), it said on the front of the box that it was a pewter material after opening and unpacking it to check everything was there and in good condition, which it was, the last things I removed from the box were the 4 legs, they were the only things that were cast iron. I have since used it twice now and it looks fine to me, I do like it.

Does as advertised. Don't expect a long life as only light gauge steel construction. OK for price and easy to relocate than would a Cast-iron Chiminera.

So glad we got this chiminea for 2020/2021- means we can have people over in our garden when outdoor lockdown rules are lifted. Makes for a gorgeous cosy evening in our little south London patch.

Great product and light enough to move when not in use. Shame so expensive though.
