"Excellent bigggggggggggggg Ghetto Blaster boombox radio!!
I received my boom box & I loved it, I loved everything about it. For it to be a used item, the owner took excellent care of it. The sound is just amazing. Right now, I'm looking for a remote control for it. I've tried to get one, but had no luck, other than that I'm more than happy with my purchase!! And, I must say, the price for this model was excellent. If I could, I'd give 10 stars on this product. Good sound for under $100
The boombox was larger than expected but the sound was way better than expected. The unit seemed well used and a little tattered but the critical components seemed OK. I hope to get many years of service from it. The tape player actually sounds pretty good. The most noticeable characteristic is the good sound at low volume and it seems capable of putting out a lot. There are three levels of bass, low med and max. The medium and high tone were well defined though not adjustable. I didn't go up too high on the volume since it was plenty loud - it could go a lot farther. This is the real deal - a ghetto blaster. I would buy it again since I returned a new smaller Sony back because the sound was about as good as a cracker jack box. It is counter intuitive but it does take a powerful unit to produce good sound at low volume.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
