    Excellent One-Volume, Basic Book for Learning About Cars

    This book explains in simple, easy-to-understand language the most important parts and systems of a car. I use it to better understand the repairs that my mechanics perform on my vehicle.     Book is described as very good but has a big portion ripped off.

    Based on a quick glance of the contents and index the book seem to have good information on how cars work. But the book has a big section torn off. I prefer if it was dog eared and has writing all over.
