  • Something for everyone

It’s good to have biographical notes on the authors of poems - obviously essential in an anthology. Most earlier authors have an average of two poems. Poets born in 20 century usually only have one poem featured. No matter, but it means one can google other poems or find sources - the book is a good launch pad to find more poems by a given poet. Nice formatting on each page. Like the physical feel (weight and dimensions) of book. All kinds of subjects feature, of course, some pleasant and even unpleasant surprises - but this is life.

  • Christmas Present Success

I bought this as a Christmas present for my Dad. In his spare moment, he still hasn't put the anthology down. The diverse range of poems is being appreciated. Thank you.
