The Boss CE-5 is a guitar effect pedal designed to produce sound modulations by applying the chorus effects. To provide the musicians with an option to control the desired aspects of their instrument's tone, this Stompbox unit is equipped with the following controls: E-level knob, rate knob, depth knob and filter knob. Boss Chorus Sounds- Still Awesome After All These Years
I could've bought one of the new "Boutique" chorus pedals that make your guitar sound like a badly tuned sitar and cost as much as a new car- that's if you can find one, 'cos they only made a limited run of 3 of them before stopping production after John Mayer bought one........know what I mean? This is THE original chorus sound, I believe Boss stumbled on the circuit while they were making their Flanger, and in my opinion the CE-5 gives you the most control over the sound, as it has the two- band "FILTER" control on the far right-hand side to separately adjust high and low signal- I use a Telecaster, a Strat and a Les Paul, so it's great to be able to boost or cut the highs especially, when changing between guitar sounds! I've just finished recording with this pedal and it's not until you hear the playback that you realize just how great this pedal actually sounds, I rate it as AWESOME! and great value for money, if that's a concern, but I'd still recommend it if it was twice the price!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
