Boxee was the best of its kind
I have tried them all. Every set-top box that claims to allow you to view YOUR home-based content on your TV from your local devices or network. Boxee was and IS the best and easiest device to do this including (in my opinion) Kodi. It may not have all the bells and whistles of Kodi or even some of its competitors but you just plug it in, point it to your files and let it go. It'll find play nearly anything. For online content, it's pretty limited as it hasn't been supported for quite awhile but for home-based media collections, there is no better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Overall i was truly disappointed was really looking forward to using this product.

Boxee Box works great
If you need a media server to view videos from your computer, this device does the job. Though discontinued by D-Link, boxee box is still a great device and can be found on ebay for a very reasonable cost.
