Third iteration of a game series that justified buying a PSX in it's own right
I lost years of spare time to this series. Short, often technical but generally exhilarating gameplay means 1-4 people can be amused for hours at a time. Progression of difficulty is fairly linear and well judged, making the whole thing a delight. Old school arcade action as it should be - patches of short, sharp action and banter with actual real mates in between. Two is often considered the pinnacle of the series, but this is close. Formative.
