  • Carry handle broke the first time I lifted the pc!

Built a pretty basic mini-atx system. Nothing fancy. Board, RAM, CPU, boxed CPU fan from Intel, one hard drive, one dvd drive. The very first time I picked up the machine by the molded in handle the top plate broke off. The handle is molded into a flimsy sheet of plastic (not metal) which is held in place not by screws or anything sturdy - but 6 plastic standoffs. You know the snap in plates that cover up where the DVD drive goes? It's the same concept with snap in standoffs holding the top plate/molded handle on. Total Junk. Built in 300W power supply wouldn't power a pci slot-powered Radeon HD 4770 either, even though it doesn't require a power supply connector. I ended up shoe-cooing the thing together and have to remind myself not to use the handle.

  • OK CASE FOR BUDGET BUILD: SHEET METAL SHOULD BE THICKER.

This is not a bad case for a budget build: The handle on top is OK (although it could use some rubber padding) and it only supports the ports on the front that are a necessity (USB 2.0. Headphones. Microphone.) However the primary hard drive bays seem to be cut for use with SSDs rather than conventional 3.5 Hard Drives, since the screw holes for the mounting brackets would not line up properly. Also: The case seems to be able to support multiple hard drives. But there is hardly any room for additional wiring. So how they could be functional is a mystery to me. Finally the sheet metal for the case is too thin. It needs to be slightly thinker and less flimsy.
