THE PIXMA 2000 IS A VERSATILE PRINTER
When my Canon Pixma 1500 stopped printing, I tried to find out a way to get it going again because I needed to respond to a time sensative situation. I discovered a solution by one who had the same problem. The ink was not getting through the print head. The solution was to remove it from the printer and soak it in hot water since the ink is water soluble. I tried it and was able to get a weak print sufficient for the emergency job, however, I knew it would never get any btter and knew I would need a new printer. Since this one was the second 1500 that Had gone bad over time, and liking the relatively reasonable cost of the iP 24 ink cartridges, I began looking at the Pixma 2000 which seems to have a better track record plus it had settings for not only printing 8.5 X 11 paper but could be set for addressing envelopes. It cna also print smaller photographs without having to use expensive letter size photo paper. There are two paper feeds, one on top as usual and another under the print tray which are selected with the press of a button. The prints on plain paper are crisp and clear - I haven't tried photo paper yet but I fully expect them to be excellent as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Canon PIXMA IP2000 Great products !
Easy to use, nothing fancy, if you are a student, or for home use, cheap inks if you on the budget, this one is for you, Because this is a older model, kind of hard to find a new one for a decent price, but for the $$ that you save on the inks, is well worth it !
