It wasn't made like any other book either; Michael Rosen said of the text, I wrote it at a moment of extreme feeling and it went straight down onto the page ... Quentin didn't illustrate it, he 'realized' it. He turned the text into a book and as a result showed me back to myself. No writer could ask and get more than that. Lovely book for anyone who is grieving
Lovely book suitable for adults and children. It is well illustrated and describes the deep sadness we feel when a loved one dies in clear and easy to understand ways. Fabulous book. I heard about it via various posts when grieving and was surprised I hadn’t heard of it as I’m an avid reader of all kinds of books.
