This little book is well-written, very readable, properly scientific in its approach, and confirmed my gut instinct that Stephen Hawking lost the plot towards the end of his life when he joined Dawkins & Co in their desperate mission to "prove" atheism. It was also a somewhat sad read, because until Hawking set about trying to disprove the existence of a Creator I'd had the utmost respect for him. Some of that respect fell away, though it doesn't diminish the excellent work Hawking did in his earlier days.

everyone who hold Mr Hawkins in high regard should read this to show how his beliefs hold him back and how many other scientists disagree with him
