A good Black history science narrative
Recommended this book for a Bookgroup read. Good balance between the scientific narrative and the family history, but Henrietta Lacks herself does remain a victim of experimental exploitation, despite the advances made from her cells. I'm pleased to be reading the book and I would most certainly recommend its future listing as essential reading in schools and colleges.
