A Very Memorable Gift
I already owned “My American Journey”. Indeed, I knew General Powell, personally. However, I purchased this copy to give as a Christmas gift. To my great surprise and absolute sadness, General Powell died after I received the book. I, therefore, decided to give the book to my friend early, and not wait until Christmas. The book, itself, and to receive it upon the death of General Powell, brought my friend to tears. General Colin Powell was one of America’s greatest citizens.
