Great content
If you really want to learn conversational Spanish, this book can really help. I teach conversational Spanish and am always looking for the "perfect" book for my students . I haven't found one yet, but this one is fantastic for rich content and easy-to-learn concepts. It is set up as a series of partner practice activities, and you can be your own partner if necessary. The book is an excellent value for what you get (lots of vocabulary and practice). What you don't get is an up-to-date look and lots of pictures, both of which I like in a language book. However, most newer books cost 5 to 10 times as much! So if you can handle a book with only a few pictures and not much cultural information but a whole lot of content, you will be very pleased. I lent my copy out to some of my students. Some liked it; one did not. The one who did not like it told me she doesn't like books in general. Give it a go! The Spanish teacher I have been looking for.
I've tried to learn Spanish several times before and was not able to retain very much. This book has been the best I've encountered. You can start at any level and progress at your own speed. I am taking my time and not moving on until I am comfortable. This purchase came with the 2 books that are shown here. The seller also threw in a Webster's Quick Reference Spanish/English Dictionary for my students to use in the classroom. I highly recommend these texts to Spanish teachers or those learning Spanish on their own. I have wanted Madrigal's Magic Keys to Spanish for quite some time, so when I saw that it was selling as a bundle with Painless Spanish, I knew I had to jump on it!! Madrigal's Magic Keys to Spanish is much longer than I expected which is a bonus! It is 496pgs. Painless Spanish is 278pgs.
